Work is underway to develop the new Section 175/157 self-assessment audit for Schools and Colleges across the Blackpool and Lancashire areas.
The requirement for self-assessment is directed by the statutory guidance Working Together to Safeguard Children [2018] which places a number of duties on Local Authorities and School Governing Bodies under Section 175 of the Education Act 2002.
The self-assessment will be completed online and is anticipated to be published from the Spring Term 2022. Further information and updates will be published on the Assurance, Scrutiny & Impact section of the CSAP website as soon as they become available so please be sure to check regularly.
