What are Cookies?

Cookies are simple text files which typically contain two pieces of information: a website name and a unique user ID.  When first visiting our website, you will be presented with a variety of options that allow you to customise some of the information which can be collected by the site by either allowing or blocking different types of Cookies (e.g. functional, statistical, experience or marketing cookies) which are explained below.

1) ‘Functional’ cookies are necessary for the correct operation of the website (e.g. navigation, page access) and therefore are not optional;

3) ‘Experience‘ cookies (whilst optional) allows various functionality built into the site to operate;

4) ‘Marketing‘ cookies are not routinely used by us but where enabled, can collect information to better understand your interests and help to provide you with tailored content;

Should you return to our website in future, your device will check to see if it holds a cookie that refers to our site and if so, sends this information to let it know who you are.
