Moving On Up! Toolkit
One of the most common questions we receive during sessions from parents and carers (and of course children) is ‘when is it appropriate for my child to get a smartphone?‘.
This toolkit from our fantastic colleagues at Childnet covers a variety of topics relating to the online aspects of transitioning from primary to secondary education.
The toolkit is freely available to download and includes a variety of videos, lesson plans (both primary and secondary), presentations and a guide/checklist for parents & carers. It covers topics such as wanting a first phone, group chats and handling friend & follower requests.
